Local Newspapers and Media
As capital of Wales, Cardiff is home to the country's television companies. It also has its own radio stations and local newspapers.
The city's local newspaper is the South Wales Echo. Also printed in the city is the national Welsh newspaper, the Western Mail. Offices for both are on Park Street in the city centre and the website is www.walesonline.co.uk.
Radio stations for Cardiff include Capital FM (formerly Red Dragon Radio) who are located in the Red Dragon Centre in Cardiff Bay, BBC Radio Wales who have relocated next to Cardiff Central railway station in the city centre, Heart (formerly Real Radio) and local community station Radio Cardiff.
Television companies in Cardiff are BBC Wales who have relocated next to Cardiff Central railway station in the city centre, ITV Wales who are located in Cardiff Bay and S4C which is a Welsh language broadcaster currently located in Llanishen.
