St John's College is one of the oldest and largest colleges in Cambridge. It was founded in 1511 by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII.
St John's College has many beautiful buildings and stunning grounds in which to explore. These include The Great Gate, First Court, Chapel, The Library, Bridge of Sighs, New Court and the College Gardens.
The College is open to visitors and tourists all year round and access is through the Great Gate in St John’s Street only.
