Cardiff is a young, vibrant city that contains a wealth of attractions and things to do. Famous for Cardiff Castle, the National Museum and the civic centre, it is also known for being a centre for sport with the Principality Stadium playing host to many UK and world sporting fixtures.

A compact city and easy to get around on foot, the centre is jammed packed with shops, bars and restaurants. Head south to the waterfront for the popular Cardiff Bay area with the world class Wales Millennium Centre, more attractions, restaurants and bars.

We now feature the Vale of Glamorgan including Penarth in our Cardiff listings for those who fancy exploring a little further.

We are currently into the beta testing of the website and still have some way to go before the structure of the site is complete. We welcome your help to point out any errors or broken links during this testing stage.

Cardiff is a young, vibrant city thanks in part to its large student population. The main universities in the city are Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University (formerly UWIC) and the University of South Wales (a merger of the University of Glamorgan and the University of Wales, Newport). Our sister site Big Students has all the details.
