Six Nations Rugby Championship
0.3km
Sunday 5 February 2023 - Sunday 19 March 2023

The Six Nations is a Rugby Championship played annually at the start of the year. The nations that take part are England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. Home matches for Wales are played at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Each team plays every other team once, with home field advantage alternating from one year to the next. A team that wins every match achieves a 'Grand Slam'. Also, victory by England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales over the other three 'Home' teams is called a 'Triple Crown'. Several individual competitions take place under the umbrella of the Six Nations tournament. The oldest is the Calcutta Cup, which has been running since 1879 and is contested annually between England and Scotland.
