Every year since 2000 St Patrick's Day is celebrated in Nottingham on March 17th. With a parade through the city centre and a full line up of entertainment, bands and Irish dancing in Old Market Square.
Saint Patrick was a Christian missionary and is the patron saint of Ireland.
