Nottingham Community Groups

Community groups are the life and soul of a city and we feature a few of the most interesting ones here.

Nottingham Civic Society

Nottingham Civic Society is an organisation founded in 1962 whose aim is to care about the city and to make it a better place in which to live, work and relax. The group also organises regular heritage walks in the city.

Nottingham Hidden History Team

The team originally formed in 1965 to try to save or at least record before destruction the cave sites discovered during the major redevelopment of the City that took place in Nottingham in the 1960s. On the site you will find a series of history, folklore and archaeological related articles and information.
