The Capitol Shopping Centre is a modern, medium sized shopping mall with mainly national chain shops. There is also a gym on the upper floor as well as a large car park.
Built in the 1990s on two levels it is a bright and airy shopping mall. Although suffering a bit from the opening of the new section of St David's Centre, stores now include Tesco.
Many Cardiff residents deeply regret the loss of the Capitol Cinema, a Cardiff landmark, which was demolished when the centre was built.
