Cardiff Bay’s ultimate powerboat experience, providing fast and fun boat trips in the Bay. Set up in 1999, Bay Island Voyages operates boat trips using new high speed RIB boats from Cardiff Bay to Flat Holm Island and the Bristol Channel.

Cardiff City currently play in the Championship which is the second tier of England's football league. In 2013 they joined neighbouring rivals Swansea City as the two Welsh teams in the Premiership, alongside English clubs Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea but were relegated in the following year.

Cricket is the oldest team game in Wales with a heritage stretching back to the late 18th century. Glamorgan County Cricket Club was formed in 1888 and since 1921 it has been Wales' only representative in first-class cricket.

The Sport Wales National Centre has extensive indoor and outdoor facilities which are used by more than 30 Welsh governing bodies of sport. The centre regularly hosts international competitions, training camps, coach education, qualifications and individual athlete training.

Located in Fairwater Park, Cardiff Ski and Snowboard Centre was built in 1969 by Cardiff City Council. The original slope measured 90 metres and was the one of the first dry slopes in Great Britain.
