Cardiff University is the largest centre of higher education
in Wales. Most buildings, including Main College, are in the civic centre,
though there's a second site on Newport Road. Recently merged with the College

One of the biggest SUs
in the country, the rather ugly seventies building straddles
the railway to Pontypridd and hides a myriad of bars,
clubs, cafes and shops. Busiest nights are Wednesdays and
Saturdays, both nights in Solus (the main nightclub) regularly
selling out. Also home to the Athletic Union (AU) and Student
Advice Centre. |
