The Cambridge Punting Company is a small co-operative of independent boat owners licensed directly by Cambridge City Council. Punts are available from the La Mimosa Landing Stage which is in the city centre, located between Magdalene Street bridge and Jesus Green.
The popular choice for tourists in Cambridge is the Backs Tour which is a return trip on the River Cam between Silver Street and Magdalene Street bridges on a traditional punt. This gives a fairly good view of the private buildings, bridges (including the Bridge of Sighs at St John's) and gardens of the University.
