Opened in 1906, the New Theatre is the last traditional theatre left in Cardiff. It has luckily survived whilst every other theatre, concert hall and cinema in the city have been closed and demolished.

The Sherman Theatre offers a distinct and diverse theatre programme for audiences. Performances are in English or Welsh, original plays and national touring acts including popular alternative comedians.
